Madison had a few photos taken on Friday by an amazing photographer named Nicole of http://www.nicolegellerphotography.com/ She has the sweetest assistant, named Caroline and together they hosted the Matilda Jane Clothing photo contest. Each girl that participated will have one of their photos submitted to the clothing company for a chance to be featured in their online store. Madison had so much fun posing (we all know what a ham she is). The following day when I told her that I was going to take pictures of her for the violin recital, she asked me if we were going to "her studio". So funny! She claimed, Nicole's studio as her own! The studio is located in Tampa. If you need some pictures taken, feel free to check them out. The studio is really cool...I love just how warm, inviting and eclectic it is! Nicole did a great job with the kids and she had the cutest gadgets to get them to smile. What a wonderful experience, keep your fingers crossed with me and let's hope Madison gets "the call". Just me and my violin...
Today was Madison's Violin Recital. As we arrived for rehearsal, Madison politely advised her violin teacher that she wanted to play by herself, as opposed to playing along with the teacher. The video below is only 19 seconds of her performance. What you don't see is her introducing herself and telling the audience that she is going to play, "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star". Madison proceeded to play her own rendition of...well...you tell me what she is playing, cause we are still trying to figure it out! Enjoy! Click on the arrow in the bottom of the black box below:

The Budding Artist
Madison painted this picture for her teacher.She said that at the top are rain clouds,
and the rain is falling on the people.

on her painting. She did this without anyone
telling her to do so or without any help
forming her letters. AMAZING!
