Happy 2nd Birthday Madison - Jamaica

On November 23rd we celebrated Madison's 2nd birthday at Hope Gardens in Kingston, Jamaica. Madison truly enjoyed herself and so did everyone else. There were 22 people in attendance at the beautiful gardens, most were family (Daddy's side). Madison sang Happy Birthday to herself, she ran all around the gardens, danced, ate cake and ice cream and played with the "alloons".

Good Night Princess!

HISTORY IN THE MAKING

No matter what our political views are, we cannot deny that this is a major milestone for African Americans, for our country and for our children. I never thought that I would live to see the day that a black man was elected President of the United States of America. In the 60's, Robert Kennedy said, "In 30-40 years, a negro could possibly be president of the United States!" Wow, Bobby! You were really on to something. Dr. Martin Luther King would be so happy! Although we may all have different views, we now all have the same President and we must pray for him and ask God to guide him and give him the wisdom that he needs to run this awesome country. Madison, you are a part of this historic event. I can now say to you, with no uncertainty, that you can one day become the president or vice president of the United States! It is possible! You are living during a very historic time in our nations history. You are just a few weeks away from turning two years old, however one day you will understand what this all means. What a wonderful country we live in! God Bless America!
