Yesterday, Madison and I spent the day together and we had a lot of fun! We left the house fairly early, (anytime before noon on my day off is early). We stopped at McDonalds for a little pre-lunch snack to hold us over. Madison ordered "popies", which of course are "french fries". I ordered a grilled chicken wrap and a Dasani water and we were on our way. Thank God for the "drive through". Next we went to the park where Madison rode her bike and I trailed behind her getting a nice little work out myself. After the park we went to the movies to see, Disney's "UP". It was a really nice movie about a man named Carl Fredricksen who spent his entire life dreaming of exploring the globe and experiencing life to its fullest. But at age 78, life seems to have passed him by, until a twist of fate (and a persistent 8-year old Junior Wilderness Explorer named Russell) gives him a new lease on life. It was a very interesting movie with a great story line and message. I was so surprised that Madison sat through the whole thing and behaved herself. She really loved the house with all the balloons on it! When I showed her the picture above she remembered the movie and she said with great expression, "Mommy, I saw that on the BIG TV." So cute! After the movies we went to pick up Guy Guy and off to a late lunch we went at, Ruby Tuesday's (our second visit, thank's to Patty for introducing us to RT). Mom and I had the New Orleans which consisted off spicy seasonsed baked Tilipia topped with shrimp. It was soooooo good! It was a wonderful day. I truly enjoyed it with "my girls".
